I was born with dark brown eyes, and the thought of changing my eye color excites me—just like bleaching my brows from natural black to brown. It is not that I hate my natural eye and brow color, which is very much prevalent in my race (Asian with a pinch of European descent), but it never hurts to try something new, right? Read more
SK II

SK II is one of the famous skin care in Asia especially in HongKong. Although there was in issue against its ingredients before, there are still a lot of avid followers of the brand.
My friend, K, bought the facial cleanser upon the advise of her Singaporean friend who swears on this brand. She claims that her pimples cleared up upon using this product. Not just the cleanser though, she bought the whole set to begin with. This is quite a huge investment as it is known to be expensive. Of course, beauty is one thing women are very keen of. Our faces are the first thing people look at. We don’t want them to stare at our pimples rather than eyes right?

Chancing upon these photos at Specktra makes me fall in love ten-fold at MAC Cosmetics.
MAC has its soon-to-be launched collection, MAC Fafi Collection. I bet this is their cutest collection ever! Any piece is a must-have collector’s item.
Each piece comes with this cutesy caricature of 3 punky lasses (notice that all of them are donning black-white stockings?) packaging. The colors are smashingly hot and vivid. Me likey!
And oh, which reminds me of this previous collection from Smashbox: the Tokidoki.

I just had a visit to my favorite dermatologist a couple of weeks ago to have my face checked. My face has been breaking out since the onset of the Holiday season. Simply put, zits started brewing here and there, and I was in a state of panicky. Blame Holiday stress to it!
My derma had something done to my face. After the session, she prescribed me a new topical anti-pimple gel that can be worn under makeup. I haven’t tried Sebamed products yet, and this would be my first.

First of all, Happy Holidays!
It’s been so long since I posted my last entry, so forgive me ladies!

Anyway, I just came across a local MAC Cosmetics Sale–where selected items are at 50% off! I grabbed not just one but ten items in total. I swore before not to splurge on makeup and have a healthy MAC rehab instead. But this rare occasion sounded so compelling, it didn’t stop me from hoarding lots.
Hence, I got 2 shadesticks, 1 lip liner, 1 e/s primer, 2 lipglasses, 1 lusterglass, 2 e/s and 1 lipgelee. Read more

For a busy office girl like me, applying eye makeup is the least of my priorities. That’s why I opt to use my trusty eye shadow liner for a quick fix. I’ve been mulling to get a few pieces of MUFE’s eyeliner (since they got a myriad of colors I ogle for), but each costs like $ 14-15 apiece.
But, it looks like Makeup Forever has given me another option. It comes with this set of five mini eyeliner pencils that’ll surely make peepers pop out in just a swipe. Thanks to its long-wearing waterproof formula, each of these eye colors delivers rich amounts of color that won’t rub and budge.
The set includes a .03 oz each size of #10L Copper, #12L Blue with green reflects, #11 Purple, #8L Silver and #0L Matte black. It’s in limited edition and only available in Sephora for only $35.
My Kerastase Vita Ciment Salon Experience

Last Saturday, I dropped by David’s Salon amidst malling with a friend to have a salon express treatment. It didn’t occur me that it’d last that long, considering the stylist said that it’d only last up to 20 minutes (heck yeah, 20 minutes of letting my hair sit for a while sans the rinsing and massaging). Anyways, I was looking forward for a hair treatment that would revivify my hair from getting all dried up, unkempt and messy. I’m still pondering whether to get my hair rebonded again or not since I still want to retain its voluminous body (I’m dreaming of having a hair like Angelina Jolie’s :P).
Going back, the stylist suggested that I should get the Kerastase Vita Ciment Treatment. Because of my uber-long hair, it cost me 3 vials ;). In spite of cowering over the hefty price, I really enjoyed the treatment overall. I loved how the massage relaxed and invigorated me after a day’s mall stroll. I also loved the destressing aroma the product left after the heavenly treatment.
The Vita Ciment Concentrate treatment reconstructs and puts substance and ressitance back into abused and weakened hair. It’s like making it as fresh and as manageable as it looks despite the chemical treatments it has undergone.
It rebuilds the Internal substance of the hair fibre, where it’s needed most. The high concentration of Vita-Ciment Complex, with a professional dosage of 30,000 ppm (parts per million) makes this a professional-only shock treatment.-kerastase.com
My hair is unbelievably soft and silky after the blowdry. I use Kerastase Oleo Relax for maintenance. The stylist said I need to redo it after a month, but heck, I would probably think twice of shelling out another $40. ![]()
