Skinfood Black Sesame Hot Mask buffs and soothes for a clearer, smoother skin

There are countless times when I’m such a sloth on wearing mud packs or scrubbing using some grainy exfoliant. Both needs right amount of time to do it the proper way. Sometimes, scrubbing takes 2-3 minutes before rinsing. Other exfoliating scrubs require letting it stay for about 5 minutes or so prior to rinsing. Mud packs, generally classified as masks, takes a toll on my time by waiting for about 15-20 minutes, not to mention the grueling couple or more of minutes of careful and precise application. Masks need to stay longer on the skin to effectively seethe the nutrients from it, making the skin healthier and more pampered.
Until recently, I got myself a 2-in-1 mask and facial scrub that cuts my time in half. Skinfood Black Sesame Hot Mask is my new love! It acts as a facial scrub and a mask, and it really clears my shallow whiteheads and dead skin cells.
Right after cleansing my face with a facial wash (I currently use Dermalogica Cleansing Gel), I slathered a liberal amount of the mask onto my face and massage it for about a minute. The small grains as well as the black sesame seeds acts as exfoliants to get rid of the dirt and dead skin cells off my once abused countenance. I let it sit for about 3-5 minutes just as how the instruction tells me so. During the application, I noticed the heating element of the mask, as if it made my skin warmer. I also noticed that some of my whiteheads came off, which is a plus sign that this really works! Going back, I finally rinsed my face thoroughly with lukewarm water. I was amazed that my skin felt cleaner and smoother just right after. The mask is transparent, a bit sticky, but it’s not oily or emollient at all. It didn’t leave a trace of greasiness or extreme dryness.
Here’s what Skinfood says about this product:
Using natural ingredients of black sesame to provide a steam effect. Deeply cleanse pores for a clean, smooth and refresh feeling.
I can positively say that I’m hooked to it! I guess I’m gonna use it once a week together with my Nu Skin Epoch Glacial Marine Mud. This is perfect for those with oily/combination skin. I also suggest to rub the mask concentrating on the nose to buff away those nasty whiteheads and blackheads.
