Cargo Plant Love and Lips

CARGO is changing the face of beauty by planting new seeds (literally) for eco-friendly beauty. PlantLove™ is a collection of 12 lipsticks, each cased in a tube made entirely of corn. What’s more, the flower paper boxes the lipsticks come in sprout wildflowers when planted. This bright idea has even inspired Hollywood to go green: Five of the lip hues were designed by top actresses, who individually collaborated with CARGO to create their ideal lipstick shade. With PlantLove™ in your cosmetics cannon, it’s easy to love the environment as much as you love your beauty products. - Sephora

That seems like an eco-friendly campaign to me! What is more fabulous than being one with mama natur, and being able to wear gorgeous shades designed by Hollywood stars?

The five Hollywood beauties that came up with their own shades are Lindsay Lohan, Mariska, Hargitay, Maria Menounous, Evangeline Lilly, and Sarah Chalke. For every lipstick sold, 2 dollars would be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the world’s premier pediatric cancer research center.

A lipstick case made of corn is actually a nifty, eco-friendly idea. What more if you throw away the packaging, that grows into wildflowers? I feel all 60’s World Peace fuzzy giddy here.
