Since our skin is overly exposed to environmental stress and pollutants, it tends to get dry easily causing wrinkles to appear prematurely. There are so many consumer moisturizers out in the market, sometimes I don’t even know which ones are worth my hard earned money. Guess in hard times, I can go natural and stick to
the basics…rely on my sweet Honey!
Honey is said to be a natural moisturizer. Inexpensive since you can get it in any leading supermarkets. Also honey also has known natural antioxidants.
“ Antioxidants play a role in protecting the skin from the damage of UV rays and in aiding in skin rejuvenation. Prolonged exposure to the sun’s UV radiation can cause skin damage, premature aging and even skin cancer. Because chemical and physical barrier sunscreens can cause skin irritation, companies are researching the use of anti-oxidants, anti-irritants and moisturizers in their sun care products. The natural properties of honey make it ideal for these products. Look for honey to appear in the ingredient statements of more and more cosmetics, sunscreens and skin care products. Source“
