On Blotting your Oilies.

Summertime is usually crucial especially for those with oily types of skin. The exhausting, arid climate triggers the sebaceous (oil) glands to produce oil more than the usual. As a result, your face seems like covered with a greasy sheen–sheen compared to that of a crystal ball!

Although oil may be considered as a friend to help moisturize or give our skin a goddess glow, too much of it may look tacky and make your makeup look pasty. You may also experience a heavy, uncomfortable feeling. But, the worst thing it may do to our once flawless skin is that it may cause us nasty breakouts.

If you feel like cutting your oil overproduction by a bit, you may use topical creams or gels or what we call as “skin mattifiers”as a primer (prior to makeup application).
