Tarte Rise and Shine lip gloss and plumper:Perk me up!

One of my most loved products. Recommended by my best friend Beautynomist not so long ago, it has been a staple product for me ever since. It is a lip-plumper and lipgloss in one and has great value for its price =)
It comes in three great shades of red, pink, and nude. I personally adore the sheer red Rise and Shine. I love the giddy feeling I have whenever I swipe this on my lips. It is a great perk-me-upper especially when gloomy weathers get the worst of me and I feel my face is so pale and dull =) It is not only color that it brings but happiness as well =)

Image from: Sephora.com

Mineral Makeup (MMU) is slowly making raves in the beauty industry. Traditional makeup brands like Physician’s Formula, L’oreal, MAC and the like have also a separate MMU line of their own. But, as far as my knowledge is right, it’s Bare Escentuals that started it all!
So, if you’re a mineral makeup newbie, better grab this Bare Minerals Starter Kit in Sephora for only $60 (originally a $181 Value). Start using MMU by getting the right shade of base color, brushes, primer and way to do the tap-and-buff application technique.

VV Review: Physician’s Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Mascara

Now that MMUs (Mineral Makeups) are hot, Physician’s Formula just brought us this first ever mineral mascara that’s hypoallergenic and dermatologist approved, specifically ideal for those with sensitive eyes, particularly contact lens wearers. It’s a mineral water-based formula that conditions and astonishingly lengthens eye lashes, with dual-side applicator (plastic bristles and a firm comb on the side) that coats and separates lashes effectively.
Sounds so promising, isn’t it? I got lucky to own this mascara and amazed at its lengthening prowess! I love using it ‘coz it really lengthens my already thick and long eyelashes, making it stand out more! The dual applicator works for precise application. The downside, however, is that it takes time for the mascara to let dry, so touching it immediately after application is a big no-no. Since it’s not waterproof, it has a tendency to run down on the face once it gets contact with anything liquid. On the other hand, I do not feel any eye irritation whatsoever when wearing this mascara for a long period of time. Read more

Once upon a time, a shopaholic-slash-beauty-junkie damsel-in-distress was in dire need of a knight in shining armor.
Well literally, she wasn’t looking for a lad to steal her heart, but a piece of a magic pot to conceal her woes.
Enough fairy tale cliches, that damsel-in-distress was me. I was in search of a good concealer that won’t cake or streak even under the harshest environment. Indeed, it was a hard quest, but my best bet among the rest was the Cinema Secrets concealer. I bought two tones to satiate the obsessive-compulsive behavior in me when it comes to the art of camouflaging sans ending up like a kabuki doll.
And yes, another woe: my tired and aching footsies. Who would have thought this fab pair of stilettos is literally to-die-for? Not to mention, the pair isn’t really a perfect fit (it’s a bit huge for me). Enough sob gab, I immediately grabbed ahold of this Soft-Gel Blister Guards from Earth Therapeutics. It saves my feet from getting annoying blisters, and at the same time, provides an extra space to get that perfect fitting.
